Forest View Sprinkler Status History
Based on the amount of problems we have had with our sprinkler system the following log will attempt to keep all homeowners up to date on the status of the shared sprinkler system. As well as layout some common sense ground rules that should be followed to maintain the system in good standing. (Log Started: 02/03/2006)

System is down. 6809 Ashburn, Line was damaged when H.O. put in fence. Line will be repaired by end of week.

System is down. Leak found at 7570 Ridgefield. Service has been called to see if it is FVHOA or homeowner responsibility. Line was damaged when H.O. put in fence. Line will be repaired by end of week.

System is down. Fellow resident is building a pool on Ashburn. Contractor has to relocate main line running thru residents back yard.

10-17-2006
System is up. New panel has been installed, along with new bladder, replaced propeller, jockey pump, rebuilt clay value, cleaned intake lines. A walk through will be performed on 10/18 with the vendor to make sure everything is working and we know how to work the station.

10/18/2006 - Vendor advises that we do maintenance on the station every 6 months, vendor will supply estimate. Vendor instructs us, that if needed, the butterfly value should be used to take the station off line vs. turning off the panel. This will leave the system primed, and allow the repairs to be completed.

10-16-2006
System is down. Repair has been completed on berm by Smith Brooke. Front entrance problem was due to a broke value which needs to be ordered, estimate is 1-2 weeks. Vendor is going to try to rebuild.

10-12-2006
System is down. Contractor for sprinkler repair has finished his work. However after turning the system back online, a break was discovered on the berm by Smith Brooke and by the front entrance. Repairs are underway.

09-12-2006
System is down. Contractor for sprinkler repair has informed us that one of the motors is dragging a propeller. Their recommendation is to leave the station off until the panel can be replaced. Each time we have tried to turn it back on in a "temporary mode" more damage has been caused. He estimates 3 weeks for the panel to be installed.

System has been up and down based on weather conditions and as repairs are being made. System should be considered offline even though water may be available.

System is up. 08/08/2006 - FPL restored proper power, station back online.

System is down. In turning the pump station back online after the road resurfacing the controller indicates a phase error. Service has been called.

08/04/2006 - FPL was called power to station was bad.

System is down. Pump station has been turned off so road resurfacing can be done.

System is up. Timer replaced.

System is down. Someone (?) has vandalized the pump station timer.
Contractor will replace the the timer on Thursday 7/20.

06/19/06 - In the process of repairing this break the pump motors have found to be broken. We are going to get the pump station back online while we wait for the report from the sprinkler Consultant (6/26) as to the proper long term corrective measures.

03-07 7531 REPAIRED - hairline crack at the elbow in front yard. 7533 main line break by tree in back yard. This will be fixed in within the next few days.
03-09 Repair made just waiting for glue to dry. System should be back online tomorrow.

System is up. We are waiting on estimates to get the system in excellent working condition however we have turned the system back on so that damage does not occur based on lack of water.

2/13 repair has been made but we have been advised to not turn on the sprinkler system until the pumps are repaired. We are waiting on an estimate for repair.

System is down. Line break found between houses 7480 and 7482 Ridgefield. Upon review it looks like one of these homeowners/contractor was trying to repair their fence and broke the line. Prime Management (PM) is following up with Home Owners (HO) to find out who is responsible. The responsible party will be asked to pay for repairs.

System is up and running after repair made to main line in the back of 6743 Ashburn.
